Booking Terms and Conditions - November 2025 V12

Thank you for booking one of our classes or courses or purchasing an item from our online shop.

Please find below the Terms and Conditions that each one of our learners are required abide by.

By booking on a class/course organised by Fox Pioneer Centre, the learners automatically agrees to these terms and conditions as set out below.

Please note that each booking constitutes a legally binding contract whereby you make a commitment to the Centre which must be honoured by you.

These are the terms and conditions that apply when you reserve a course through Fox Pioneer Centre, either online or in person.

You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions when you make a reservation.

Fox Pioneer Centre Spiritual Community shall be referred to as FPCSC.

Books

The actual book is depicted in the photographs. Remember, unless listed as new or as new, this is a used book - there is no escaping the fact it has been read by someone else and may show signs of wear and previous use. Condition is as listed, if you are not entirely satisfied, please get in touch with us.

Everything Else

In the event of receiving faulty goods, please contact us with the details immediately upon receipt and we will do our best to rectify the situation. Returns are made at the expense of the purchaser. Please keep postage proof of return.

Absolutely no refunds are given for 'buyer's remorse'

 Gift Certificates

 Kindly note the expiry date on gift certificates. Gift certificates can be redeemed against any service, event or product listed on FPCSC website. There is no cash value or change given for partial redemption.

Shipping Info

  • To be as green as possible, we reuse and recycle our packaging where we can, therefore you may receive your items in packaging with parts of previous labels affixed. We encourage you to do the same.

  • Due to their reliability, all items are sent via Royal Mail - no exceptions. Full tracking is included in their service

  • Shipping cost is calculated by weight at checkout.

  • Destination country import duty is the complete responsibility of the purchaser

 

Online & In Person Events

  1. Your booking has secured you an allocated place on one of our courses.  If you subsequently decide to change your mind about this booking, there are no refunds.

  2. Once you have booked your course, you will be emailed the course pre-requisites. This will include the Zoom link.

  3. You are required to notify the tutors if you have any extra support needs. Our tutors will do their best to support you. It is expected that learners home IT set ups will support any additional needs.

  4. For online courses, you are required to test this link in advance of the course to ensure that it works.  This will give us plenty of time to send you a new link in good time of the course starting.  Follow the instructions provided with your Zoom link.

  5. You will be required, in advance of the course, to create an account with Zoom.  Free accounts are available. 

  6. You are responsible for suitable and continued internet connection throughout the duration of the course. No make-up sessions are available

  7. You are required to log in to the Zoom meeting at least 10 minutes before the start of the course.  Courses start promptly at the time advertised.  Tutors are not responsible for enabling learners to catch up if they join the course late. Also, learners are required to remain for the duration of the course.   Early leavers will be assumed not to have completed the course and will not have the opportunity to catch up on the course later unless payment has been received for a new booking.

  8. Unless otherwise stipulated, if there are less than 6 learners (online) or 10 (in person) then a new date will be arranged, and you will be informed by email. Your place will automatically be transferred to the new date.

  9. Learners are required to bring to the course the appropriate resources that are stipulated in the course joining details.

  10. Learners may be required to complete pre-course questionnaires should this be required by the tutor.  This information is to enable the tutor to tailor the course to their learners’ needs.

  11. Use a laptop or desktop computer to attend your event. Phones and tablets can receive calls and will cut you off.

 

Bedroom Occupancy and Accommodation

  1. The maximum bedroom occupancy is as per the type of room booked and is only to be occupied by the persons named upon the booking.

    1. Single room – one person

    2. Double room – two people

    3. Twin – two people

    4. Group – three berth – 3 people (where available)

    5. Group – four berth – 4 people (where available)

  2. Rooms are allocated on a first come first serve basis and are subject to availability

 

Deposits

  1. Where deposits are required, they are not refundable/transferable.

  2. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover you should you need to cancel or amend your booking.

  3. Transfers cannot be made in respect of any other Courses run at the Centre by organisations other than the Centre itself.

 

Payments

  1. Course charges MUST be paid IN FULL at least 30 DAYS before the date each course begins (or upon booking if within 30 days of commencement of a Course).

  2. If your booking is within 30 days of event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  3. If an instalment agreement has been made with a payment facility through our website, your agreement is with them and not Fox Pioneer Centre. All disputes are to be raised with them directly.

  4. If you have not paid in accordance with this provision, please check with enquiries@foxpioneercentre.org or by calling 07379 305151 before commencing your journey in order to verify whether or not accommodation and or Course place(s) may still be available for you.

  5. It is your obligation to ensure that you comply with this requirement, not the duty of the Fox Pioneer Centre Spiritual Community to issue reminders.

  6. Overseas learners may either pay directly into Fox Pioneer Centre Ltd PayPal account – payments@foxpioneercentre.org or by credit/debit card

  7. UK learners may also pay directly into Fox Pioneer Centre Ltd bank account – Mettle, Account number 13853365, sort code - 04 - 03 - 33

  8. Course charges at the time of printing are incorporated in the printed advertising material and listed on our website.

  9. These charges (and any promotional offers) are subject to change and at the discretion of Fox Pioneer Centre Spiritual Community.

  10. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the tariff will be that ruling at the time of booking.

  11.  If you depart the course a day early or arrive a day late, then we are not able to give you a refund or discount.

  12. It is your responsibility to ensure that your balance is paid on time. It is not the Fox Pioneer Centres responsibility to chase you.

Cancellation of in person classes/courses

  1. There are no refunds unless Fox Pioneer Centre must cancel or rearrange an event. A new date will be offered. If the new date is inconvenient to learner, a full refund will be issued within 28 days of learner’s notice. Notice must be made in writing within 7 days of new date being offered.

 

Smoking

  1. Please note that all parts of all our hired premises (including bedrooms) are strictly ‘no smoking’ areas.

 

Disclaimers

  1. FPCSC accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for learners’ money, clothing, documents, valuables or other items or belongings.

  2. If car parking is available, cars parked in the car park are at the owner’s own risk.

  3. Subject to errors and omissions, the Tutors and Course Organisers listed are correct at the time of printing. However, these may be subject to change, if necessary, without notice, for which FPCSC cannot be held responsible or liable.

  4. The opinions expressed by individual Tutors are not necessarily representative of FPCSC policy nor of views held by FPCSC itself.

 1 - We require a minimum of 72 hours to reschedule any appointment.

 2 - All appointment cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.

 3 - Rearrangements are discretionary.

 4 - One person per 1-2-1 session.

 5 – Sessions are recorded & will be emailed via We Transfer to the email address used at time of booking only. Recordings are only kept for 3 months before permanent deletion.

 

Please note that if you are dissatisfied with your sitting, you must tell the medium after 10 minutes into the sitting. Later complaints cannot be accepted.

 

Other Terms Conditions and Notices

  1. We must advise you that our courses are professional courses and learners are expected to behave in a manner suitable for such events.  If either the tutor or the moderator assesses that a learner’s behaviour is inappropriate, then the learner will be removed from the course.  In such an event, no refunds or credit are permitted.  This will also dictate that future courses are no longer offered to this learner.

  2. Learners are requested to complete a feedback form on completion of the course to contribute towards our quality assurance process.  Feedback can be anonymous if preferred.

  3. Unless otherwise stated, courses/classes will commence at the time stated within your booking information.

  4. Check-in time varies from venue to venue. Check your course materials for further details

  5. Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure irrespective of the course finishing time.

  6. Fox Pioneer Centre Spiritual Community operates a zero-tolerance policy in respect of physical or verbal abuse towards learners, staff, tutors and accommodation. This includes hate speech.

  7. No private sittings, circles, seances, demonstrations, groups, workshops, talks, lectures, healing, complementary therapies or similar activities are allowed to take place within the hotel or its grounds unless under the direct control and supervision of one or more of the Tutors working on the Course.

  8. No cameras or other filming or video/audio recording equipment are to be used within the course or class, without prior permission from the course organiser or the tutor.

  9. The content of all audio and visual recordings remains the copyright of Fox Pioneer Centre Spiritual Community and may not be used for public or commercial purposes. Any public use, whether or not for gain, will constitute a breach of the Copyright Laws.

  10. No person is allowed to promote, advertise, offer or sell goods or services within the hotel or it’s grounds.

  11. We regret that caravans and tents used for sleeping purposes cannot be permitted in the hotel grounds

  12. The venue Duty Manager and or Course Organiser has the right to refuse admission to the venue or any part of it, at any time, or to require any person to leave any part of the venue or the venue grounds, at any time, without having to give a reason why.

  13. Learners s exhibiting unacceptable behaviour will be asked to vacate the hotel premises by the Duty Manager, General Manager and/or the Course Organiser. Visitors to the venue must always report to either reception, if available, or course organiser.

  14. Allocation of the learner to the group is the responsibility of the Course Organiser.

  15. Damages to hotel property including soiled linen and towels will have to be paid for by you directly to the venue.

  16. If you do not report any damages or accidents, this will lead to you being banned from attending in person classes and courses facilitated by FPCSC in the future.

  17. Theft of property is a criminal offence; learners suspected of theft will be immediately banned and FPCSC may involve the police. FPCSC reserves the right to recover the cost of missing items.

 

Customer Service Guarantee

Providing a high level of customer service satisfaction is high on FPCSC list of ethics. Whilst we endeavour to fulfil 100% satisfaction, we recognise there are times when issues arise. Where possible, always raise concerns at the time of their happening.

Your complaint will receive the utmost attention as quickly as possible by the directors of FPCSC.

Complaints are dealt with consideration in a confidential way

 

Disability Access

  1. FPCSC will always do our best to use facilities that are fully inclusive. There is an opportunity to communicate any needs to us within the booking form.

  2. We accept your course booking on the basis that you have informed us in writing about any disability you have, as well as other conditions such as allergies, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes, or any reason that could make it unwise for you to participate on a mediumship development course. Whilst mediumship is a positive experience, working with mediumship takes you into a heightened emotional state which is not conducive to people with certain medical health conditions.

  3. It is essential that you provide full information on these aspects at the time of making your course booking. FPCSC or associated accommodation does not provide a carer service.

 

Young Persons

Young Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted on any online or residential course.

 

Insurance

  1. If you wish to cancel your in-person course, there are no refunds

  2. Fox Pioneer Centre Ltd strongly advises that separate insurance is obtained to cover any event that you may cancel so you can recover any losses that you will incur.

  3. If WE cancel your event, you will be entitled to a full refund.
