Just Across the Horizon - A Poem
Just across the horizon
Just across the sea
I know you’re there waiting for me.
A trip you’ve made before me
long long ago,
It feels like only yesterday but you and I know
That time has no meaning where you are now.
What is decades here is a blink of an eye there
There is no loss, there is no death only souls in Gods care,
returning home exactly when they’re meant to go
although it’s hard to bare…each tear expressing the love felt
where words didn’t get shared.
Â
All that have gone before, know what is in the hearts and souls of their loved ones here on Earth, never far apart.
Many fear the process of the journey home
The process is very simple, its as natural as drawing breath
You close your eyes in one place and awaken in another
Surrounded by those that love has bound, father, son and mother.
Hugs kisses and tears
There’s no need to be afraid,
From just across the horizon
At the other side of the sea.
I am here waiting for you, when you’re ready to come home to me.'
